CDPs are built around marketing profiles. Weir is infrastructure: it moves every kind of event, from product analytics to payments and database changes, with delivery guarantees, versioned transforms and replay. You can still send profiles to your CDP from Weir.

Events are stored encrypted in the region you choose, in the US or the EU. History is kept for 7 days on Hobby, 30 days on Growth, and up to 365 days on Enterprise. Enterprise customers can also run the data plane inside their own cloud account.

Weir retries with backoff for up to 72 hours while preserving order per user. If a destination stays unavailable, events wait in a dead-letter queue and you can replay them with one command once it recovers.
